Her next quarry lies in the isolated village of Tanasu, located at the edge of civilization and bordering the Territories of Sij, the land of her ancestors. There, Lyna hopes to destroy the deadliest core she’s ever faced and maybe find a place to call home.
But with each use of her powers, Lyna loses a part of herself; a memory of her past, a remnant of her spirit, a piece of her strength and youth. And when she only finds death and a cursed land in Tanasu, Lyna starts to question if her efforts are making a difference and if there is any hope for this world, and for herself.
Now Lyna must decide. Abandon her quest and leave the world to fend for itself? Or continue what has become a hopeless fight—at the risk of surrendering her very soul?

This is the second instalment in an open-ended dark fantasy series titled The Baneseeker Chronicles, set in the World of Arvelas.

#0.5 - The Burden of the Protector
Dàr was born to a long line of loyal protectors. He completed his training at a young age and was posted in the Yurita Highlands, a region known for its rugged terrain and frequent earthquakes. His career was very promising, until he stumbled on a strange object in the center of a meadow.
The moment he saw the object, Dàr knew he should report his discovery to the scholars, so they can investigate, so they can make it disappear. But he did not. His decision changed many lives, including his own.
Years later, as Dàr contemplates the whole of his life, he remembers the strange discovery and the choice he made as a young protector. Long buried memories resurface. Now consumed by regret, Dàr wonders if it is too late to make amends.

#2 - The Bridge of Carcia
The first draft of this story was started and completed as part of the NaNoWriMo 2016 challenge. It was planned as the second in a series of short novels set in Tyronia, following Arth de Valdur as he uncovers secrets about the reality of his world. It follows the events of The Stranger of Ul Darak. As I continued working on Stranger, it became evident that the stories in the series needed to be longer (full-length novels), and thus, this project is now on hold, pending the completion of Stranger.
